so because i'm a comment whore and somehow i'm not getting as much comment on my blog as i would like... i have decided to offer this blog in the blogspot environment as well. funny how things work out... blogspot was actually my first blog spot. (get it? get it?) but i'll still keep on updating my xanga as well... live journal, well that's another story. maybe if i get more people pestering me to post there i would.
in other news: I BOUGHT A CAMERA!!! Sony Cybershop DSCW30. itz a pretty tian digicam! i heart it. the only part i don't like is the whole paying for it. damn accessories! as if the cam can only take 10 pictures. why do memory cards have to be so expensive!!! bu hao. i also feel so technological. i carry 2 cell phones (the other one is contract and itz gonna expire soon so i will soon only carry one) and the cp that i have right now is so tian (Nokia 6630) coz it has a 1.3 mp cam with it (albeit the new cp's now have 3 mp... well the Nseries at least) i have my Bible in my cp now! i have an ipod. now i have a digicam. next on the list: Mac book (coz they're so aesthetically pleasing and not because i'm a big Mac fan) :D
i met up with a friend of mine this monday and we were supposed to go for pho but it was closed so we had Chinese instead. she was talking about her missions trip to Niger and just how life was treating her. it was a nice talk. one of the things that came up was devotions and how i felt my devos were rather bordering on routine: open up Oswald, the Bible, read and that's it. granted i do get a lot from doing this, i feel like there should be more than this (just like the song says!) she was talking about one of the ladies in her church challenging her to just read the Word without a devotional guide. and i decided to do that this week. i need to finish the Bible and what a great way to finish it by meditating on it along the way. right now, i have read straight from Genesis until Proverbs. i was so amazed by the revelations and greatness of the proverbs. i knew they were... but just having the time to read it and meditate on it has been greatly rewarding. it actually has gotten me excited about%
