Thanksgiving

I'm thankful for God being the good God that He is. He balances being a king, best friend, lover of my soul, just, gracious, holy, forgiving, tender, firm, patient, jealous oh so well. I'm thankful for the transformation he's brought about in my life and continues to do in my life. I thank Him that He loves me enough that He's willing to meet me fully where I'm at, not the meet me halfway thing that the world tells us we should do, but 100% where I'm at. He doesn't tell me meet me at the corner of this street and that... He comes to my street, walks down to my house, goes up to my room and gets me. And me being the one who's probably the meanest person to Him and to His family members. Why, I will never fully understand. But I guess we have all of life to ponder about His grace and love.

So, I write this for Him. I dedicate this to Him. For He is worthy to be praised and adored.

Song of Sid IV

Sing, my soul shall sing to You
Heavenly Father, Son of David, Counsellor
Unto You, these words of praise I offer
Kindness You have bestowed, change You have wrought within my inner being
Release from the shackles of sin and vain imaginations
Awe fills me as I consider and meditate on Your goodness
Never ending thanks and praises my tongue cannot give utterance to all that You have done

Je t'adore mon Seigneur, mon Espoir, mon Amour, mon Tout en tout.
